“Giddy” …that was me, when WOODCHUCK, the company asked me about this Video… so here it is- enjoy. Read the Blog, Share the link and pop open a Woodchuck. CHEERS!
I have gotten request for crock-pot dishes (manly from guys). This one is perfect YEAR AROUND… from a lakeside fourth of July Picnic to Tail-gating at the game or get it going -go do your Christmas shopping- come home and Vah-Lah, it’s done. PLUS, the house smell YUM!
Pinterest is full of Beer Crockpot BBQ recipes… but apple is a natural fit, so I’m using woodchuck to cook the chicken in and in the slaw. Infact, many of the flavors like Apple, Hard Cider & Mustard will be found in both the cooked BBQ & in their fresh states in the slaw- Perfect Culinary Marriage.
This is not competitive BBQ’ing -this is not wood chips -this IS… Woodchuck Hard Cider slow cooked into a tasty sandwich. You won’t win over the BBQ snobs, but you will win over the family & the guys watching the game.
I love a BBQ sandwich with coleslaw right on top. The kind of sandwich that travels down your arm as it travels down your tummy. So grab extra napkins, this is hard core, hard cider goodness. A twist on that greasy spoon BBQ & Slaw plate- with out all the extra fat!
Special Thanks to my daughter, Jacq, who said, “could you use that Woodchuck you drink?” …the rest is history.
